About This Project

Having worked on interior projects for a number of clients and most specifically having worked with various NHS (National Health Service) providers around the UK, I was asked to work with ACE, a community health organisation responsible for healthcare services provided through doctors surgeries, hospitals and direct to the community. They were looking to raise awareness of their services directly within the communities they serve and hoped to get to a point where their staff and the service they provide may stand out from the NHS in general. I worked with them to develop their brand and its positioning by creating a brand message, set of imagery and general style guide which would provide consistency across their activities. This encompassed individual zones, wards within hospitals and surgeries being branded so that visitors were aware they were entering an ACE controlled area. This was accomplished by the introduction of wall colourings and branded papers, furniture and bespoke desks, signage and marketing materials right through to staff uniforms which also immediately gave members of the team pride to promote the fact that they were part of this division. Naturally these things are not born over night and its a long term project to roll the concept out, but the first steps have been taken…
